What Fashionable Zero Wasters have in their purses

Being a zero waster is a lot like being a boy scout.  You always have to prepared for anything.  I wanted to share with you, dear reader, some of things that I do to stay prepared.

I keep two reusable shopping bags in case I have to buy something.  Typically one is made of fabric so that I can put in bread or pastries or something of that nature.

I also keep a small container in my car or bag in the event that I have to buy takeout or bring home restaurant leftovers:

My brother tells me that being zero waste means avoiding restaurants.  He’s right, but I sometimes (often? always?) like to go to eat at a restaurant.   And that’s why I am not truly zero waste but just reducing my waste.

I also keep my trusty napkin, bamboo knife, metal fork, spoon and straw in my purse:

I got the bamboo knife at Papillon.   I love it because I can even travel on the plane with this knife without issue: it is zero waste travel friendly.

So now you know what every zero waste fashionista carries in her purse:

This is one fashion trend that everyone should follow!
